Ripple On News and Notes New Look & Feel

For those of you who do not know, I publish a monthly newsletter called Ripple On News and Notes. I mainly was doing this as another way to let people get to know me, hear a different take on the Ripple concept and basically open up some additional channels of connection.

To be perfectly honest I wasn't aware just how many people had signed up to read the newsletter until recently and I figured I better get a little more serious about making it look and feel more like me and my website. So officially this month I launched the next version of Ripple On News and Notes with the help of my fabulous web development team at Wildwood Interactive.

Ripple Connection Question of the Week

This week's Ripple Connection Question is....

What was your favorite "thing"
to do when you were a kid?



Getting someone to reconnect to their childhood and through their own stories, allows you to journey back with them as the mentally relive and retell of their childhood adventures. Using this kind of connection question is one of the quickest (and neatest) ways to deepen a connection with someone you want to know better.

So my answer to this question is.....

Playing SPY. My friend Kevin and I could play secret agent spies for hours and never get bored. Whether it was sneaking into the backyard of the "Hippie House" or trying to find the secret dungeon door that the "witch on the corner" had to have (we just knew it!), we did it all and then some! Our bikes were our James Bond-enhanced sports cars and our fort was of course....headquarters. We were pretty hot stuff with gadgets and trinkets that would make your head spin even today.

I miss those days and think of them often. It was just plain good old American boy fun. Oh the trouble we use to cause! But alas I can tell you no more because us spies have a credo of secrecy that we are sworn to protect.

This Just About Sums It Up --- It's Summertime!

It's getting hot in Texas. This song just gets me in the mood for dealing with the heat and not complaining (too much) about it.

Just need a cold beer, good shorts and the right kind of attitude. Bring it summertime....I'm ready for ya!
