Veterans Day 11-11-11

It's Veterans Day, a day in which we honor the men and women who have served in our country's military.

I heard a radio interview on the way in this morning and the DJ asked her dad, a veteran, about how it feels to be thanked as a veteran.  He said, "It never gets old."  He went on to state, "He'd do it all over again if he were asked to serve.  There has been no prouder experience in my life than knowing I played some small role in helping protect this great country." 


There is no bigger Ripple you can make today than recognizing a member of our armed forces, past or present.  Let them know how much you appreciate their sacrifice and the sacrifice of their families.  Trust me, now more than ever, our military personnel need to hear from us all.  They need to know that we love and support them and appreciate all that they do.

So go create a Ripple of untold magnitude just by saying..."Thank you for your service" to a member of our military today.
