I know this song has been out a few years but every time I hear it I keep telling myself, tomorrow, I need to really follow its advice. Yes tomorrow! Definitely tomorrow! Or just as soon as I get this project done, finish this speech, or return the 400+ emails that are piling up in my inbox. Then I can do it. Then I will start.
This morning I could have easily been hit by a truck on the way to the office.
Maybe I shouldn't wait until tomorrow. No, definitely I shouldn't wait until tomorrow because in life, tomorrow is never guaranteed.
Good advice Tim McGraw. God advice indeed!
I "market" hospice services and have come to live the philosophy of this video/song.
ReplyDeletePeople ask how I can work in hospice and I ask, "How can I not?"
Every day, I am not hampered by unresolved issues because I love, hug, kiss, and cry. Basically, working with the dying has taught me to live.
Thanks for the reminder.
I love it when a typo (if, in fact, it is a typo) gives a new & deeper meaning to a statement.

I agree that the powerful message of the song is likely supported by both sources cited. :-)
